■ How to Apply
(1) Follow the official account on X (formerly Twitter) + post an illustration with the tag #CCPL11th_AvatarDesignContest to complete your entry.
(2) Follow the official account on Instagram + post your illustration with the tag #CCPL11th_AvatarDesignContest to complete your entry.
(3) Fill out the Google Form to complete your entry.
■ Application Form
There is no limit to the number of entries. You may submit more than one illustration at a time. You may also submit multiple entries during the period. However, please refrain from submitting the same work more than once.
There are no restrictions on image size or format, as long as the image can be submitted to X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
For Google Form submissions, image files must be in JPEG or PNG format with a maximum size of 10 MB per image.
There are no restrictions on the aspect ratio of the images.
Our designers will create a “Selfy” avatar item for use in CocoPPa Play from the submitted illustration.
The avatar item design will mainly reflect the design and color of the face, hairstyle (hair ornament), tops, shoes and other items worn, posing, and accompanying accessories.
Therefore, please draw a full-body color illustration of the costume and facial design at an angle that is visible.
You are free to draw the avatar in any style you like, without taking into consideration the body size or taste of the selfy (CocoPPa Play avatar).
When the avatar design is made into an in-game avatar item, there is a possibility that some parts of the design may have to be altered due to specification restrictions or other reasons.
Also, please be aware that there is a possibility that we may follow the original design but make some changes to it, such as color variations.
In principle, each illustration submitted for the contest should depict a single person. Illustrations depicting two or more people will be considered for the prize, but please note that only a part of the avatar designs depicted in the illustration may be made into an item.
No background is required for the illustration to be submitted. Illustrations that include a background will be considered for prizes, but please note that in such cases, the background may not be itemized.
When submitting an avatar design, you may optionally add a text description of the design.
For X, you may add text within your submission or as a tree within the submitted image. For Instagram, you may add text within your submission, but edits after submission cannot be considered. For Google Form, you may add text in the optional text input field of your submission.
Some or all of your submitted description text may be featured in-game or outside of the game.
When designing avatars, we will use the submitted text as reference, but there is a possibility that the avatar design will be implemented in a way that does not conform to the text due to specification limitations or other unavoidable reasons.
The copyright of the illustrations belongs to the users who created them, but the copyright of the avatar items created from the illustrations belongs to United Marketing Technologies, Inc. and may be used inside and outside of CocoPPa Play in the future.
■ Selection Method
Submissions for the contest will be selected by the CocoPPa Play Management Team.
Winners will be announced in CocoPPa Play and on the official SNS after the contest is over. Winners will be notified individually within 5 business days after the announcement.
Winners who enter via X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram will be notified by direct message from the official account.
Please make sure that you have set up your account to receive messages from the official account on the platform you applied on.
If you submit your entry via Google Form, we will send an email to the email address you entered.
If you enter via Google Form, please make sure that you are set up to receive emails from "ccpl_contest_um@united.jp".
After confirming the contents of the winning email, please answer the required information, including your CocoPPa Play account ID.
Please note that if for some reason you do not respond to the notification by the deadline, your prize will be invalidated.
Please note that we cannot accept individual inquiries regarding the judging criteria.
■About the Prizes
The Grand Prize winner (1 person) will receive an Amazon gift card worth 100,000 JPY, and the Special Prize winners (3 people) will receive an Amazon gift card worth 30,000 JPY.
The gift card will be sent by direct mail to your SNS account when you are notified of your prize, or a code will be sent to the email address you have registered on the Google Form.
Please refrain from disclosing or transferring the Gift Card to any third party.
If the winner is from a country or region where Amazon gift cards cannot be used, the winner will receive an equivalent gift.
Items made into avatars based on the illustrations will be sent to the Present Box of illustrator's CocoPPa Play account upon the item's release.
If you delete or change your account after providing your account ID, we may not be able to send you the prize, so please keep your account active.
■ Notes
Please read all of the followings carefully before submitting your illustrations.
By submitting an illustration in the manner specified in the “How to Apply” section, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement and the Privacy Policy of CocoPPa Play.

1. All works submitted to the contest will be deemed to grant the “CocoPPa Play” Management Team the right to publish them on SNS. Please note that some of the entries may be posted on official X, Instagram, and other SNS, as well as in the app. The above publication does not guarantee the winners of the prizes. Selection of winners will be based solely on the final results of the selection process.
2. By participating in this event, you give us permission to use your design and release the rights to in-game items based on your design in the game.
3. All winning works may be used in the promotion and media related to the game “CocoPPa Play”, including in-game and outside of game operations. All winning entries may be trimmed or otherwise altered in the process of use. Please understand this in advance.
4. Please note that any of the following will be disqualified from the selection process. If any of the following is found to be the reason for exclusion from the selection process, the selection may be cancelled.
- Entries that are not related to the theme of the contest.
- Entries submitted via X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram that do not use the contest-specified hashtag.
- Entries submitted via Google Form that are incomplete in filling out the required information.
- Entries that use AI-generated images or text in whole or in part.
- Entries that use illustrations created by someone other than the entrant, or illustrations created by someone other than the entrant that have been modified for the entry.
- Entries that use costume designs that are not original to the entrant.
- Entries that infringe on the intellectual property rights, honor, trust, privacy of our company, other users, or any other third party, including proprietary rights and copyrights.
- Entries that are offensive to public order and morals, or that are obscene, cruel, or discriminatory, or that otherwise cause discomfort to third parties, as well as those that we deems inappropriate.
- Entries that have been submitted or resubmitted after the submission period.
5. Only students (high school, vocational school, college, university, etc.) who are 16 years of age or older as of the date of entry, or those of appropriate age, may submit entries.
Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before submitting their work.
*We will assume that you have obtained the consent of a legal representative such as a person with parental authority at the time of application.
6. The terms of entry shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
7. This contest is not affiliated with X, META, Google, or Amazon.
